The Wedding of Charlotte & Corentin

A sun-drenched wedding in Provence, filled with the sound of cicadas, heartfelt emotions, and unforgettable celebrations.

To celebrate her love story with Corentin, our bride chose a wedding dress that perfectly reflected her personality: simple, elegant, and effortlessly feminine, featuring a breathtaking open back, a fitted silhouette, and a dramatic long train. A beautiful veil completed her look, allowing her to create two distinct bridal styles throughout this very special day.

How did you meet?

Corentin and I met during lockdown, thanks to our best friends, who had the wonderful idea of introducing us.

It all started with a few messages. We got to know each other from a distance before finally meeting in person once lockdown was over. From that moment on, we've been inseparable!

How and where did the proposal happen?

The proposal took place on Iraklia, a tiny Greek island with incredible charm.

For the past five years, we've travelled to Greece every summer. It's become our special tradition, a little escape just for the two of us.

One evening, overlooking the sea, Corentin asked me to marry him. There was no elaborate setup or grand gesture, just the two of us in a place we love. A beautifully simple proposal, exactly like us.

Tell us about your wedding

We had our religious wedding ceremony on Saturday, July 18, 2026, in a charming little church in Barbentane, a picturesque village in Provence.

After the ceremony, we joined our guests at the Mas des Comtes de Provence in Tarascon to continue the celebrations.

Getting married in the South of France was something we both really wanted. We love the sunshine, the warmth, the sound of cicadas, and that unique atmosphere you can only find in Provence. And we certainly got the sunshine — it was a heatwave!

We didn't choose a specific wedding theme. More than anything, we wanted a wedding that felt like us, filled with warmth, happiness, and a wonderful party atmosphere.

How did you choose your wedding dress?

In the end, it didn't take many bridal appointments to find my dress!

I'm usually a very indecisive person, but deep down, I knew exactly what I wanted: simplicity, clean lines, and, most importantly, an open back.

I dreamed of a dress with a truly breathtaking back, a fitted silhouette, and an incredibly long train, almost exaggerated in length, trailing beautifully behind me!

And I managed to find all of that in one dress. I absolutely loved it and received so many compliments!

As for the veil, I hadn't initially imagined myself wearing one. But in the end, it added something truly special to my bridal look and allowed me to create two different styles throughout the day. It was perfect!

What were the most important elements of your wedding?

Without a doubt, the energy and atmosphere!

I wanted a wedding filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable celebrations. To me, it's the guests who truly bring a wedding to life.

It was essential that everyone could enjoy themselves, share genuine moments of happiness, and create beautiful memories together.

I especially remember our arrival at the venue and our entrance to music before dinner. It was incredible! Those moments brought such amazing energy to the celebration. If there's one thing I would definitely recommend, it's choosing the perfect entrance song!

We also placed great importance on the quality of the catering and the photography. We wanted beautiful photographs to capture every precious moment.

And we couldn't have been happier with how everything turned out!

What advice would you give to future brides?

Enjoy every single moment!

The day goes by incredibly quickly. My first piece of advice would be to take five minutes to pause, look around, and truly appreciate how lucky you are to be surrounded by so much love.

I would also recommend taking a little moment alone with your husband, just after the church ceremony and before joining your guests at the venue. Having that time together after such an emotional ceremony is a memory you'll treasure forever.

And finally, start getting ready early enough! It makes such a difference and allows you to fully enjoy those precious moments with your bridesmaids without feeling rushed.
